BREAD BHAJIYA RECIPE
- 4 bread slices
- 1/2 cup gram flour(besan)
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 3 tbsp potatoes finely chopped
- 3 tbsp onion finely chopped
- 3 tbsp tomato finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
- 2 green chillies chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water or as needed
- Oil as required for deep frying
- Collect all the required ingredients.
- Take the bread slices in a bowl and tear the bread into very very small pieces.
- Repeat the process for all the bread slices.
- Then add besan and rice flour.
- Add finely chopped potato, onion, tomato, green chilli, and coriander leaves.
- Now add salt to taste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder.
- Also add lemon juice and tomato ketchup.
- Mix all together with a spoon.
- Then sprinkle water little by little.
- Knead it like dough with hands so that all the bread pieces should get mashed.
- The bread mixture is ready to fry.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadai on medium heat.
- When oil gets heated, reduce the heat to low to medium and drop spoonfuls of the mixture in hot oil using your fingers.
- Fry the bhajiyas in small batches. The bhajiyas will take about 2 to 3 minutes to cook.
- Fry both sides until it turns crispy and light golden brown on all sides.
- Remove it from the oil using a slotted spoon and transfer to a plate lined with a paper napkin.
- Deep fry remaining bread bhajiyas in same way.
- Serve bread bhajiyas hot or warm with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
