Cheese Sandwich recipe with step by step photos and video recipe – is a basic sandwich generally made with one or more varieties of cheese on any sort of bread, that may include spreads such as butter or mayonnaise. A typical grilled cheese sandwich is made by grilling the sandwich with butter and toasting it.

A grilled cheese is often heated by placing the buttered slices of bread, with the cheese between the slices, on a frying pan or griddle.

It is one of the easy breakfast sandwich and it does not take much time to make these cheese sandwich.

These make for a quick breakfast or snack and are just great to serve with some black tea or coffee. These are also eaten for a meal along with tomato soup & some salad.

How To Make Cheese Sandwich (Step By Step Instructions With Photos):

1. Collect all the required ingredients.

2. Add butter to a hot pan and place the bread slices. You can also smear the softened butter over the slices.

3. Toast until golden on one side of both the slices.

4. Flip both of them and lower the flame.

5. Top one of the bread slice with grated cheese. Placing the cheese over the toasted hot bread helps the cheese to melt fast.

6. Sprinkle the flavorings you desire like pepper, red chili flakes and oregano.

7. Cover the cheese topped bread with the other toasted bread. Place the golden side over the cheese.

8. Smear softened butter on top of the bread slices.

9. Then flip it and smear the butter over the bread slices.

10. Toast on both the sides on a medium heat until the cheese melts off.

11. Flip and grill for 2- 3 minutes till the cheese sandwich is crisp and golden.

12. Take care not to burn it.

13. Remove the grilled sandwich and cut the bread into the half or into desired size and shape.

14. Serve grilled cheese sandwich hot, plain or accompanied with green chutney or tomato ketchup.

  • ¼ tsp oregano or any Italian herbs

  • ¼ tsp chilli flakes
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
