CRISPY POTATO FINGERS RECIPE

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gms  Boiled Potato
  • 1/2 cup  Semolina or Rava or suji
  • Green Chilli Chopped
  • 2 tbsp  Coriander leaves Chopped
  • 1 tsp  Chilli Flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp  Black pepper powder
  • 1 cup  Lukewarm water
  • 500 litre  Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Collect all the required ingredients.
  • Firstly,take a bowl add lukewarm water and sooji .
  • Mix it and cover it for 5 minutes, the semolina will puff up. Keep it aside.
  • Peel the boiled potatoes and grate it.
  • Check the semolina and soften it with a spoonful of semolina. it may take 2-3 minutes.
  • Take the grated potatoes bowl and put the semolina paste in it.
  • Gently press it while mixing.
  • Now add green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, black pepper powder and chilli flakes. Mix all ingredients well.
  • Once mixture is ready, freeze the mixture for 15 mins .This helps mixture turn firm.
  • To make potato semolina fingers, keep the oil in the kadhai for heating. They require medium-fast hot oil to fry them.
  • Apply a little oil on your hand, mix the mixture well and make it like a dough.
  • Roll a little mixture into it and roll it by giving it a shade in length.
  • Do the same with the remaining mixture.Fingers are ready to fry.
  • When the oil is hot, put one by one potato finger in the oil.
  • Make sure you put them to fry one by one. When put together, they stick together. As each potato fingers can be cooked, add other potato fingers and drain the fried potato fingers from the kadhai and keep it in the plate.
  • Prepare all potato fingers in a similar way.
  • Steaming hot and Crispy Potato Finger is ready to be relished. Serve potato semolina fingerlings with your favorite sauce or sauce.

Recipe notes for Crispy Potato Fingers :

  •  Make sure you put them to fry one by one, as we put them together they stick. We need to separate them. If added one by one they won’t stick.
  • To make it tastier you can add chaat masala if desired.
  • Oil should be medium heated while frying aloo fingers and keep the medium flame.
