Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat Recipe with step by step photos and video recipe – is a delicious recipe that is great when had as a tea time snack. In this recipe Dahi vadas are mixed with crunchy papdi and sweet tangy tamarind chutney and spicy green chutney to make a flavorful dish.

To make the Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat Recipe, you have to have all the ingredients ready. Then assembling the dahi bhalla chaat will be super easy.

Making dahi bhalle takes time. So you can prepare the vadas a day before or at morning. You can also make the sweet imli ki chutney and green chutney a day before. The papdis can be made at home or brought from outside. The chickpeas also can be cooked a day before and refrigerated.

Ingredients
  

  • 15-20 whole papdi / papri
  • 20-25 bhallas soaked
  • ½ cup potato boiled and diced
  • ¼ cup chickpeas boiled
  • 2 tbsp green chutney
  • 2 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • ½ cup yogurt or curd
  • A pinch of red chili powder or as required
  • A pinch of chaat masala or as required
  • A pinch of roasted cumin powder or as required
  • A pinch of black salt or as required
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Collect all the required ingredients.
  • Soak the bhallas in warm water, in which salt and asafoetida is added and allow them to soak in water for 2 hours.
  • Take fresh curd in a bowl.
  • Beat the curd till smooth.
  • Take each vada and flatten and press between your palms to remove excess water.
  • Do this with all the vada and gently place them in another bowl.
  • Now pour beaten curd over the bhallas.
  • Gently mix it. Now you can keep the vadas with the curd in the fridge and assemble when you want to serve.
  • To begin making the Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat, place 4 to 5 papdis in a plate. Here I have used homemade whole wheat papdi.
  • Add the dahi bhalla over the papdi. If your bhalla’s are large, then break them into small pieces and add them.
  • Pour some of the dahi as well.
  • Top up with some boiled potatoes and chickpeas.
  • Next drizzle the tamarind chutney.
  • Then drizzle green chutney around or on top each of the bhalla.
  • Sprinkle some black salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, and roasted cumin powder.
  • At last, sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves. The chaat is now ready to be served.
  • Serve dahi bhalla papdi chaat immediately.

How To Make Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat (Step By Step Instructions With Photos) :

1. Collect all the required ingredients.
