Eggless chocolate cake is also easy to make. Furthermore, some important tips for a perfect moist sponge eggless cake. firstly, even though we term this cake as a chocolate cake recipe, vanilla essence has to be added to the cake batter. vanilla essence when combined with cocoa powder, enhances the chocolate flavor. secondly, after adding dry ingredients like plain flour and cocoa powder just fold it and do not beat it. lastly, if you are preserving this cake for a week or so, use oil instead of butter. typically, butter solidifies after a day or so and the cake turns solid.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour maida
  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Melted Butter
  • 1 cup Fresh Curd
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 4 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • A pinch of Salt

Instructions
 

  • Collect all the required ingredients.
  • Firstly, sieve the plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a deep bowl, mix well and keep aside.
  • In a separate bowl take melted butter, curd, and powdered sugar and make a mixture by whisking or beating in one direction till the mixture turns smooth and creamy.
  • Further add vanilla extract and give a light mix.
  • Add the prepared sieved plain flour-cocoa mixture and approx. Mix in one direction with light hands.
  • Additionally, the add milk and mix gently for 2-3 minutes to attain smooth dropping consistency ( remove all the lumps from the batter). Whisk the makes in one direction only.
  • Cake batter is ready and makes sure the batter is of smooth dropping consistency.
  • Now place an appam stand on the gas. Do not on the flame. Pour a spoonful of cake batter into the indents/holes.
  • Now on the flame put your appam pan on gas on high makes for 10 seconds and then cook it on slow flame 30 seconds. Cover with a lid and it takes only half the minute to get done.
  • After 30 seconds, the Open the lid, and check the cake. Off the flame and remove the appam pan from makes.
  • Check the cake by changing the side of cake (Handle it carefully otherwise it may break).
  • Again Put appam pan on gas flame and bake it for 15-20 seconds. Cover with a lid. (It may take half a minute also).
  • Open the lid, and test the Cake with a toothpick or knife. If the toothpick comes out clean, then your Cake is completely baked.
  • Let it cool down for a while and then take it out from the pan and transfer it into a plate.
  • Check if it is perfectly baked or not.else bake for 10 more seconds.
  • Appam pan made Chocolate Cake is ready. Serve chocolate cake as a sweet dessert.

  1. This chocolate cake tastes good warm also, but you cannot slice them and you can just have them directly from the pan.

Something is wrong with the proportions .. Is written 1 cup melted butter which is more than 100 gm butter , but you used half of it .. You wrote 1 cup curd but ACTUALLY you TOOk less than that .. You didnt use MEASUREMENT s cups and spoons ..
