For this dish, baby potatoes are tossed in a marinade of green chutney, lemon juice, and spices, and that creates a lip-smacking aloo chaat recipe. Chaat is an innocent and healthy food, yet it is one of the most fun-filled street food, with a tangy twist.

Falari Aloo Chaat | Evening Snack | Vrat Aloo Chaat Recipe

Ingredients
  

For chutney :

  • 1/2 cup Coriander leaves (washed and cleaned)
  • 2 Green Chilli
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Curd
  • Rock Salt to taste (sendha namak)

For aloo chaat :

  • 6 Baby Potatoes boiled & peeled
  • 1 Green Chilli finely Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves Chopped
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Rock salt to taste (sendha namak)

Instructions
 

  • Collect all the required ingredients.
  • We will prepare chutney for chaat. Add coriander leaves and green chili into a blender.
  • Now add curd and grind them into a fine paste.
  • Add sea salt and mix it well.
  • Transfer them into the bowl and keep it aside.
  • Peel the boiled potatoes.
  • Take a bowl and cut boiled potatoes into four pieces. Do not cut very thin it should be slightly thick.
  • Then add sea salt, black pepper powder, green chili, coriander leaves and prepared green chutney in it.
  • Toss or combine it well so that the potatoes and spices mix thoroughly.
  • Squeeze out the lemon juice and again toss it well.
  • The chat is ready to serve. Serve as a tasty snack.

how to make vrat aloo Chaat recipe ( Step by step directions with photos) :

1.  Collect all the required ingredients.

2. We will prepare chutney for chaat. Add coriander leaves and green chili into a blender.

3. Now add curd and grind them into a fine paste.

4. Add sea salt and mix it well.

5. Transfer them into the bowl and keep it aside.

6. Peel the boiled potatoes.

7. Take a bowl and cut boiled potatoes into four pieces. Do not cut very thin it should be slightly thick.

9.  Toss or combine it well so that the potatoes and spices mix thoroughly.

Recipe notes :

  • Potatoes should be completely cool down before making Aloo Chaat. If you take hot potatoes it will break.
  • If you prefer more spices during fast, you can add it.
  • Also adding mint leaves for green chutney makes chutney more flavourful.
  • Increase the amount of green chili based on the spice level.
