Instant Suji Mini Pizza is so easy to make at home, even if you don’t have an oven. This new version of pizza which tastes really good even for breakfast. It is very easy and simple to prepare within a couple of minutes.

Suji Mini pizza is a special recipe of pizza which just differs from other. It is purely vegetarian. This is very soft and crispy homemade suji pizza. Quick and easy recipe prepared without any extra preparations. This can be served simply with tomato sauce.

Instant Suji Mini Pizza is a fusion recipe of instant pizza made with rice flour and semolina topped with mozzarella cheese, veggies and sprinkled with mixed herbs and chilli flakes.

INSTANT SUJI MINI PIZZA RECIPE

Instant Suji Mini Pizza is so easy to make at home, even if you don’t have an oven. This new version of pizza which tastes really good even for breakfast.

Ingredients

for the batter:

  • 1/2 cup suji/rava/semolina
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 cup water or as required

for suji pizza:

  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup tomato finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese grated
  • Tomato ketchup as required
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp oil or as required

Instructions

preparing rava pizza batter:

  • Collect all the required ingredients.
  • In a large mixing bowl add the rava, then add the rice flour which is chawal ka atta followed by some salt and black pepper powder in it.
  • Also, add curd in it and mix it well.
  • Then add some water say about 1/2 cup or as required depending on the quality of semolina.
  • Mix until you get a smooth thick batter which is still at pouring consistency. It should be thick yet runny.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, half of the mixed herbs and chilli flakes.
  • Mix it very well. If you have time and making for later use, cover it up and let the sooji rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Now to this add all of the baking soda, and give it a gentle mix.
  • Make sure you mix the batter going in one direction. After adding baking soda, you will notice bubbles on the surface of a batter.
  • The batter is ready, let’s start making mini pizzas.

making rava mini pizza:

  • Heat a nonstick tawa on medium flame and spread the few drops of oil on the surface of tawa and reduce the flame to the low.
  • Take half of the ladleful of batter and pour onto the tawa.
  • Let it flow itself. The thickness should be medium.
  • Make 3-4 mini pizzas depending on the size of the tawa.
  • Then cover it up and cook for the next 2-3 minutes on low flame.
  • After 2-3 minutes or once the bottom is golden brown in color, flip it and switch off the flame.
  • Add some tomato sauce or tomato ketchup on it. You can even add pizza sauce if you like and then spread it.
  • Sprinkle some chat masala.
  • Top up pizza with finely chopped veggies, keep all the veggies ready before you start preparing the pizza.
  • Now add a generous amount of cheese of it.
  • Turn on the flame, cover it up and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  • After 2-3 minutes your pizza should be ready so take it out in a plate.
  • Sprinkle some mixed herbs and chilli flakes. If you are making for kids, skip chilli flakes.
  • Serve suji mini pizza hot plain or accompanied with tomato ketchup.

Recipe Notes :

  • You can add 1/2 cup plain buttermilk instead of 1/2 cup curd in this recipe.
  • This recipe best suited for bachelors and beginners.
  • You can add your choice of veggies like steamed corn kernels or sauteed mushrooms or sauteed spinach can also be added.
  • You can even use pizza sauce instead of tomato ketchup for more flavors.
  • Do use a heavy tawa or pan. If you use a tava or griddle which is not heavy, then the base can get burnt from the bottom.
