Layered Ice Cream Recipe with step by step photos and video recipe – is an easy and quick version of delicious homemade ice cream made with only 3 ingredients. And it is also a no cook ice cream base. With the single base, you can develop so many flavors easily.

This quick and easy ice cream recipe is a basic ice cream made with cream and condensed milk. This is a soft, smooth and velvety ice cream recipe (without any ice crystals) and a recipe that does not take much time.

The best thing about these ice cream recipes are that they are quick to prepare and do not need any cooking or ice cream maker. So basically these are no-cook and no-churn ice creams. The ice cream mixture also gets done in 15 minutes. The rest of the time is the time taken for freezing.

The easiest homemade ice cream recipe you’ll ever make. Just three ingredients and no ice cream maker necessary. This no-churn ice cream recipe is easy to prepare and is quite the crowd-pleaser.

However, this recipe is eggless home made ice cream with only 3 ingredients. Not even sugar as condensed milk contains sufficient amount of sugar for sweetness.

How To Make Layered Ice Cream (Step by Step Instructions with Photos) :

1. Collect all the required ingredients.

2. In a large bowl, add the heavy whipping cream.

3. Use a hand mixer or electric beater at low to medium speed, begin to whip the cream.

4. Timing will vary depending on the fat content in the cream. Both for fresh cream and whipping cream, it takes about 8 to 10 minutes. 

5. Also be careful while whipping and do not over whip too much, as they turn to butter.

6. Whip the cream until fully whipped with stiff peaks.

7. Once the cream has been whipped, add chilled sweetened condensed milk.

8. Add 1.5 vanilla essence as well.

9. Now fold gently without breaking the air incorporated into whipped cream.

10. Do not overmix or the finished result won’t be as light and airy and can fall flat.

11. To make the layers in the ice cream, take half of the ice cream mix in a separate bowl.

12. Add 2-3 drops or ¼ tsp pink food color to this.

13. Mix it well with the cream using a spatula.

14. Take a container and pour a white layer of ice cream. Level the mixture.

15. Next, pour a layer of pink color ice cream over the first layer followed by another layer of light coloured ice cream.

16. Insert a squire or a knife and make some swirls.

17. Then add a piece of butter paper on top. Make sure to push it down so it touches the top of the ice cream. This will help prevent ice crystals from forming. 

18. Then cover the bowl with a cling wrap.

19. Now you are ready to freeze it. Freeze for at least 5 hours or till they set completely.

20. Before serving, keep the ice cream box or bowl for some minutes at room temperature. Make sure to wet your scooper in hot water before scooping. This helps to scoop ice cream easily.

21. Serve layered ice cream with your favorite toppings.
