Sandwiches are not only delicious but are also the quickest and easiest meals to prepare. This Malai Sandwich recipe is also very healthy as it is loaded with vegetables.

MALAI SANDWICH RECIPE
Ingredients
- 6 White Bread Slices
- 1/2 cup Thick malai
- 1/4 cup Onion chopped
- 1/4 cup Tomato chopped seedless
- 1/4 cup Carrot grated
- 2 tbsp Green Capsicum chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 Tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp butter for cooking
Instructions
- .Collect all the required ingredients.
- Take a bowl add all the veggies like onion, tomato, capsicum, carrot.
- Then add malai, salt and black pepper powder.
- Mix it really well so that malai coats all the veggies.
- Stuffing is ready. Keep it aside.
- Place bread slices on the board and spread out the filling evenly on a slice of bread.
- Cover it with another slice of bread and press gently to bind the bread slices together.
- Heat a tawa or a pan and spread some butter, ghee or oil on it.
- Place the sandwich on the tawa on a low heat and cover the pan setting for few seconds till the lower side turns golden brown and crisp and also smear the softened butter on the top bread slice.
- Then flip the sandwich and repeat for the other side till both the sides are cooked.
- Remove and serve malai sandwich hot or warm.
How To make Malai Sandwich (step by step instructions with photos)
1. Collect all the required ingredients.

2. Take a bowl to add all the veggies like onion, tomato, capsicum, carrot.

3. Then add malai, salt, and black pepper powder.

4. Mix it really well so that malai coats all the veggies.

5. Stuffing is ready. Keep it aside.

6. Place bread slices on the board and spread out the filling evenly on a slice of bread.

7.Cover it with another slice of bread and press gently to bind the bread slices together.

8.Heat a tawa or a pan and spread some butter, ghee or oil on it.

9.Place the sandwich on the tawa on a low heat and cover the pan setting for few seconds till the lower side turns golden brown and crisp and also smear the softened butter on the top bread slice.

10.Then flip the sandwich and repeat for the other side till both the sides are cooked.

11.Remove and serve malai sandwich hot or warm.

Recipe Notes :
- Use white bread or brown bread of your choice.
- You can also spread some softened butter on the bread slices if you want.
- You can also spread a layer of coriander chutney for some extra flavor if you want.
- I have made the sandwiches on a tawa (pan). You can also make them in a griller.
- It’s important that you use deseeded tomatoes otherwise you’re toast could get mushy.
