Masala Aloo Chaat Recipe | Evening Snack | Easy & Quick Tasty Snack
Ingredients
- 6 medium size Boiled & Peeled Potato
- 2 big size Onion finely chopped
- 2 big size Tomato finely chopped
- 1 medim size Raw Mango peeled & chopped
- 5-6 Green Chillies chopped
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves Chopped
- 1 tbsp Chat masala
- 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Regular Salt
- 1 tsp Black salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Roasted Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tbsp Butter
Instructions
Preparing Masala:
- Collect all the required ingredients.
- Take a pan,add 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter.
- Additionally add green chillies, saute for few seconds on low flame.
- Further add onions, saute it till they turn light pink on low medium flame.
- Now add tomatoes and salt, saute it till they are half cooked or for a minute on low medium flame.
- Furthermore add raw mango and cook for 1-2 minute on medium flame.
- Then add spice powder like red chilli powder and half of the lemon juice in the pan and cook it for a half minute on low flame so that masala does not burn.
- Mix it well ,switch off the flame, remove it and the masala is ready to use.
Making Spicy Aloo Masala Chaat:
- Furthermore, take boiled potatoes and cut them into desired shapes.
- Now add spice powder like chat masala, roasted cumin powder,black pepper powder, black salt and rest of the lemon juice as per your taste in the bowl.
- Mix it well and coat the aloo with the dry masalas.
- Additionally add the masala prepared in step 7 and toss it or mix it well.
- Also add some chopped onion and coriander leaves to make it more tasty.
- Serve in a bowl and garnish it with sev or namkeen.
- Finally, the Masala chaat is ready to serve

- By adding butter it enchances the taste of masala.
- Furthermore, add some spice powders as per your taste to make tasty and delicious chaat.
- Also you can add red chili flakes to make spicy .
- No need to cook the aloo chaat but just mix it.
- If you have pomegranate in your fridge, you can sprinkle it too.
- Spicy Aloo masala chaat taste great when they are hot and spicy.
