- 1 cup coriander leaves cleaned & washed
- 15-20 green chillies washed
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp curd
- 1 tsp lemon juice
for sandwich :
- 4 white bread slices

Instructions
preparing chutney for sandwich :
- Collect all the required ingredients.
- Take coriander leaves in a blender.
- Add in green chillis.
- Then add salt and curd.
- Grind into a fine and thick Chutney. Chutney must be of a spread like consistency. I do not have water. We need thick chutney, watery chutney may make the sandwich bread soggy.
- Remove the chutney to a bowl or making for later use then store in the container.
- Add lemon juice and mix well.
- I got about 1/2 cup of chutney. Keep aside.
making chutney sandwich :
- To make sandwiches, take the bread slices.
- Trim the edges of the bread. This step is optional.
- Spread butter evenly on bread slices. Butter must be soft so that it can be applied on slices. If packing the sandwiches for tiffin box or picnics, then spread a generous amount of butter, so that the bread does not become soggy.
- Spread the coriander coconut chutney on both slices. But if you want, then you can spread the chutney on only one slice. All the flavors come from chutney and butter only. So use liberal amount, otherwise, the sandwich will be dry.
- Bring together the bread slices to form a sandwich.
- Cut it using sharp knife into desired size and shape. I have made 4 small bite-size pieces.
- Similarly, we will make other sandwiches.
- Serve this chutney sandwich as a snack or breakfast.
