Ingredients

  • 150  gms Hakka Noodles
  • packet Ching's Secret Chowmein Hakka Noodles Masala
  • bowl Mix Vegetables  onion,cabbage,capsicum,carrot,etc...sliced
  • tbsp  Cooking OIl
  • Green Chillies chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3  tbsp  Water

Instructions

  • Collect all the required ingredients.
  • Firstly, heat enough water in a pan with salt and a few drops of oil, till it comes to a boil.
  • Further,add hakka noodles or any noodles of your choice.Cook according to the package instructions.(I have cooked like this after adding noodles press them lightly cover half of the vessel with a plate or lid and boil the noodles until 3/4 cooked.)
  • when the noodles are cooking, rinse and chop all the veggies or you can chop the veggies before you start cooking the noodles.
  • Once its done,drain and rinse the noodles in normal water, so that the noodles stop cooking.Keep the noodles aside.
  • Heat a kadai with some oil.
  • Furthermore, add chopped vegges like carrot, onion and capsicum.saute for a minute on low flame.
  • Additionally,add green chillies ,cabbage and saute till they shrink in size. do not over cook as the vegetables will loose the crunchiness.
  • Further add the cooked noodles, also add saltto taste, hakka noodles masala and water. Give a good mix.
  • Mix well. Do not over mix as the noodles will break.
  • Finally, Serve hakka noodles plain or accompanied with veg manchurian curry.

recipe notes for veg hakka noodle :

  1. Firstly, do not over cook noodles as they will turn mushy and soft.
  2. If you are using beans in noodles, then cut them into very fine strips and add before adding other vegetables, as beans takes a longer time to get cooked.
  3. This is very famous kids recipe and it is perfect for kids lunch box / school tiffin.
