CREAM CHEESE SANDWICH RECIPE
Cream Cheese Sandwich
recipe is an easy quick and more importantly tasty sandwich recipe prepared with few basic vegetables and cream cheese.
Deep Sauce Pan
Mixing Bowl (1.5 Litre)
Mixing Bowl (500 ml)
onion finely chopped
capsicum finely chopped
tomato finely chopped
cucumber finely chopped
cream cheese or as required
black pepper powder
Collect all the required ingredients.
Take chopped veggies (onion, capsicum, tomato, cucumber) in a bowl.
Add mixed herbs and black pepper powder.
Mix it well and keep it aside.
Take the bread slices and spread cream cheese on them.
Sprinkle some black pepper powder and mixed herbs. You can add your choice of dried herbs.
Spread about 2-3 tbsp of veggie mixture evenly.
You can also sprinkle a pinch of salt if you want. Add just enough salt only for veggies because cream cheese is slightly on saltier side.
Cover with the slice of bread in which cream cheese is spread.
Place in a preheated toaster or grill.
Toast or grill the cream cheese sandwich till golden.
Spread some butter on the veg cream cheese sandwich if you want.
Remove them and slice in two or fours parts and then serve.
Serve cream cheese sandwich with any dip or sauce of your choice.
If cucumber is used, squeeze all the water before adding to cream cheese. Otherwise, the sandwich would be soggy and moist.
Add some green chillies to make veg cream cheese sandwich spicy. I have skipped green chillies and to add only black pepper.
Be careful while adding salt, as cream cheese do contain salt.
Keep it in fridge if going to consume after some time.
I here used white bread. You can use any type of bread like brown bread or whole wheat bread.
I here grilled the sandwiches, but you can skip the grilling if you want.
If using carrots, then grate the carrots and then add.
