Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw peanuts
  • ¼ cup onion finely chopped
  • ¼ cup tomato finely chopped
  • ¼ cup cucumber finely chopped
  • ¼ cup potato boiled, peeled& cubed
  • 2 green chilli finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 water or add as required

Instructions

boiling the peanuts :

  • Collect all the required ingredients.
  • In a pressure cooker, add raw peanuts and salt.
  • Then add 1 cup of water.
  • Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  • Turn off the heat and let the pressure released.
  • Drain off the water once the pressure is released.
  • Take the boiled peanuts into large bowl.
  • Let it cool to room temperature.

making peanut chaat :

  • Once the boiled peanuts cools down, add chopped onion and tomato.
  • Also, add boiled and chopped potato and cucumber.
  • Then add chopped green chillies and coriander leaves.
  • Now add spice powders like chat masala, red chilli powder, and black salt.
  • Mix everything well.
  • Add lemon juice.
  • Again mix well making sure everything is well combined.
  • Serve Peanut Chaat as a starter to your party or as a evening snack.
